On Thursday, October 26, 2017, Grand Istana Rama Hotel Kuta Bali held Melaspas Ceremony to bless the new finishing of Padmasana – The Temple of Grand Istana Rama Hotel Kuta Bali.

Melaspas is a purification and blessing ceremony in Balinese Hindu tradition to cleanse and purify the newly completed building. Melaspas also reflects that buildings are usually made up of two elements, namely wood and stone. For Balinese Hindus, this ceremony must be carried out and has become a tradition.

As the ceremony aims at harmonizing ‘sekala’ (the seen) and ‘niskala’ (the unseen) and expressing gratefulness toward the God, here, we’re hoping a great future for Grand Istana Rama Hotel Kuta Bali.

We also believed that this ceremony will make our life balance according to Tri Hita Karana philosophy.
