First Aid Training in Indonesia is a relatively uncommon program.  In real life, when there is an accident, people generally don’t know how to respond.  As Bali is one of the most popular tourist destinations, it is important for the Hotel & Hospitality industry to know Basic Life Support – First Aid Training as they are usually one of the first people to have direct contact with tourists.  This is one of the reasons why Grand Istana Rama Hotel Kuta Bali and BIMC Hospital organized a First Aid Training for employees on 11th April 2018.

During the training, the participants learnt resuscitation techniques such as: open the airway, check breathing, giving rescue breaths and perform chest compressions.

After each training session, the participants are asked to join in a role play scenario and are expected to respond quickly to try to save the victim’s life.
